Business Analyst


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst. You will gain excellent exposure to the business and the full project lifecycle including feasibility analysis, requirements gathering, functional spec. definition, testing and implementation.

Candidates will be degree-educated (or equivalent) and have at least 3 years' Business Analysis or Systems Analysis experience. Candidates must be trained across the entire BA and project lifecycle consisting of user requirements, business and requirement specifications, data and process modelling, UAT testing, implementation as well as hand over to BAU. You will be expected to facilitate workshops in order to gather full business requirements. Documentation standards must be extensive and of a high quality.

Role and Responsibilities
To capture, understand, analyse and prioritise the business requirements and to produce a statement of the business needs in business terms. To work with technical consultants to determine the most appropriate solution for the situation (combination of existing practice, legacy infrastructure, business sector trends etc.).

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience of the full project lifecycle
  • Good knowledge of Windows-based and web-delivered software
  • Able to develop strong working relationships
  • A positive and flexible approach to change and opportunities
  • A creative approach to problem-solving
  • Process modelling tool experience
  • Working knowledge of UML; particularly use cases, class diagrams and sequence or collaboration diagrams
  • Previous consultancy experience
  • Degree in Business Information Systems or similar (preferably 2:1 or above)

We are looking for an individual with a delivery-focused attitude with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines. You will need to undertake work at client sites as and when required.
